8. Location Permission Usage

Our app requests access to Location Permissions because Android restricts access to Wi-Fi details (such as SSID name) without granting this permission. The app does not use or store your precise location (GPS).

Why We Need This Permission

• Detect the Wi-Fi network name to verify whether the device is connected to the official office Wi-Fi.
• Automatically mark check-in and check-out for employee attendance based on Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Continuously check Wi-Fi status when the app is running in the background (only if background permission is enabled).

What We Do Not Do

• We do not collect or store GPS location.
• We do not track movement or monitor location history.
• We do not share or sell any location-related data.

Data Collected

Only the Wi-Fi SSID name is accessed for attendance verification. No personal location information is recorded or transmitted.
